Life

I support open source and open knowledge: I believe it is essential for everyone to have the opportunity to learn from open and free knowledge sources. I love the Internet and its inclusive communities, they are the space where I often find refuge. Unfortunately, I don’t think we are leaving a good Internet for future generations. I am currently inactive on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, but I am actively present on Mastodon and Bluesky.

I like technology that just works, that solves a problem or improve human lifes, and doesn’t necessarily need constant updates or subscriptions. This is why I still read my books on a 4th generation Kindle (~2011).

Currently reading: “Radical Focus: Achieving Your Most Important Goals with Objectives and Key Results” by Christina Wodtke, and next, I hope to read “L’inganno dell’automa” by Carola Frediani. I am currently playing Undertale on Nintendo Switch.

I actively support two Italian journalistic projects, ValigiaBlu and IRPI Media, and two open-source projects, Mastodon and Signal.

Based in Pordenone, Italy.
